It was set up in 2010 by Mike McCulloch following a career spent in senior commercial and international sales roles in the toys, juvenile products and health and fitness markets. The principle focus of the business is on working with clients large and small to expand retail distribution and brand presence both in the UK and into international markets.
Mike McCulloch has spent over 20 years in senior commercial roles with Tomy, Hasbro, MacLaren, Mamas and Papas, Slendertone, Mitre Sports (Pentland Brands) and Baby Jogger. Mike has an excellent track record in delivering revenue and profit growth, particularly through international business development. Mike's core skills are in business planning, customer management, brand development, team leadership, P&L management and IBD.
MBD Sales works with consumer goods businesses, both SMEs and multi-nationals, that want to grow fast either in the UK or into International markets. Specialist markets are in toys, juvenile products (nursery) and health&fitness but knowledge and skills are transferable.
